Blackpool Pride 2008...
review
Hundreds headed over to Blackpool for what has become the unofficial start of the UK's Pride season... Blackpool Pride!
The great weather of the previous few days wasn't to last, unfortunately. A keen sea breeze and plenty of grizzly drizzle did its best to dampen the atmosphere, but failed as the party at the end of the pier got into full swing!

Federation never fails to satisfy with fantastic music, a seemingly endless supply of unfeasibly gorgeous oiled-up muscleboys, stiltwalkers, human puppets and fire-breathers... The question isn't whether or not to do Federation. It's whether you've got the next week off work! The next Federation date for your diary:

about Blackpool Pride

Blackpool's Pride weekend has been steadily growing over the last few years and now has full backing by the Blackpool Council who have awarded funding to the tune of £5000.
The event features a colourful parade, main stage featuring both local and national names in the entertainment business, a dance event on the North Pier, a market place and women's space.
