GAYDIO is currently working on preparations for its fourth FM and online broadcast for summer 2008!

They're looking for new people to join them - helping them push the boundaries as they target the lesbian, gay, bi and trans community in and around Manchester.

They're looking for people to help them in a range of different areas - and experience isn't important as long as you're enthusiastic! Whether it's marketing, IT, producing, presenting or you just want to be involved in radio production - get in touch with them to find out more. Gaydio has recently submitted an application to Ofcom for a full time community radio licence. A further six groups have also submitted applications for a licence in the Manchester area - so competition is fierce for the limited frequencies available. They are still waiting to find out if they've been successful - if so they will be awarded a five year FM radio licence.
