General thoughts of the day, week or month...

What's better...
Being angry and maybe hostile to prove a point about something inportant to you (say... my sexuality)
or
Just shutting up and letting people say what they want, even though it looks like they're winning and in the right?
I was rather rude to someone i work with; as they clearly didn't understand the reason/history of Pride and constantly took the piss and even wanted to back a "Straight Pride". He soon got a rude awakening from me - but i feel that i could have done a better job of proving my point. But i couldn't have just not said anything and let him get away with a comment like that right?
Views anyone?? Shut your mouth and remain calm and let them have their views (even if completely wrong) or say something and express your opinion about how much something means to you and other people... even though it might encourage you to act like Taz the Tazmanian Devil!
